Journeys Launch for 2006
Launching Journeys 2006
Today my in-box was filled with e-mails from schools. It is not that I am popular; but rather the e-mails represent the initial test of the most recent Journeys campaign. I receive a sample of the materials before they are sent to students, and since over 22 institutions will brand Journeys materials this year, it was a lot of material to review.
Within the next few weeks, the official campaign of Journeys 2006 will begin. It will be sent either by e-mail or print mail to all the students with loans guaranteed by ASA, who graduated this past May. For all the schools who have decided to lend their brand to the materials, the e-mails and literature being sent will bear the schools' logo. Our research has continually proven that students are more receptive to information when it is received from a trusted source. And for recent graduates, their Alma Mater represents a trusted provider of information.
Schools who brand Journeys materials use the program as a service they are offering to their students during repayment. Along with useful information on financial management and loan repayment, such schools are also offering their students a place they can call if they are experiencing difficulty with their student loans.
Schools participating in this year's program represent a wide variety of institutions from geographically diverse areas. The 2006 participants are:
Assumption College, High Point University, Bentley, Eckerd College, Endicott College, Fisher College, Framingham State College, Lesley University, Muscular Therapy Institute, Northeastern University, Rob Roy Academy, Springfield College, State University of New York College at Cortland, Mount Ida College, Post University, Elms College, Rensselaer at Hartford, Pine Manor College, St. Mary's College of Maryland, WPI, Warner Southern College, and Manchester College.
Welcome to Journeys, 2006.
Best, Duane
