Economic Hardship Deferment

I have printed and filled out my request for economic hardship deferment…now where do I send it?

Dear Jennifer,
Once your economic hardship deferment is complete, you need to fax it and any corresponding paperwork to whomever has your student loans. Once received, it will likely take them approximately 1 week to process it. I would suggest calling them the day after you fax it to ensure they’ve received it and again a week later to confirm your status.
