ASA in the District of Columbia
As an administrator of the Federal Family Education Loan Program, ASA has a public-service mission to provide college loan borrowers with education debt management services. We provide free information and one-on-one counseling to students and parents from the time they first apply for a college loan, to their last monthly payment.
While ASA serves students and colleges nationwide, we are the designated administrator of the FFELP in the District of Columbia, and as such we have a special responsibility to help college loan consumers in this community make informed decisions regarding higher education financing.
