Principal Network Engineer

Job Description:

The Principal Network Engineer will be the subject matter expert for architecting, planning, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting the corporate network infrastructure supporting all technology solutions and business lines. Working in conjunction with members of Platform Support, Systems Engineering, Security Engineering and ASA project teams, the Principal Network Engineer will lead the design and implementation of secure network solutions. This position is a team lead with projects; is a mentor to other members of Platform Support; works closely with other S&O teams in support of daily operations; assists with managing daily functions; maintains awareness of existing and proposed security and network standards.

10+ years of professional network experience with proven ability and experience in architecting, implementing and supporting secure network infrastructure solutions. Superior troubleshooting skills of routing and switching networks. Excellent technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills overall. Capable of multitasking and working under stress. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Excellent customer service skills. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
