The Connection After Graduation - The Impact of Student Debt on Alumni Giving
Course Description
American Student Assistance recently sponsored a study on the effects of student debt on alumni giving. The study shows that increasing education debt is indeed impacting alumni donations, and can therefore affect an institution long-term. In other words, student debt can no longer be classified as “just a financial aid office” issue. The study also reveals student loan borrowers’ perceptions of their debt, as well as their feelings on financial literacy and the helpfulness of their institution when it comes to debt management support.
