Know the Options - Paying Back Student Loans
Course Description
This session will provide an overview of existing loan repayment options that are available to your student loan borrowers. Since many of these options have been available for years, the focus will be on the newest option: Income Based Repayment (IBR). Attendees will learn about eligibility requirements, what loans qualify for IBR, how to apply, and the advantages and disadvantages of the newly implemented program. Participants will leave this session with the knowledge and understanding to assist their students in choosing the loan repayment option that will best fit their needs.
